Safeguarding All of God's Family

St. Anthony School of Milwaukee welcomes and strongly encourages the involvement and participation of parents and guardians in the school. A variety of different opportunities are will be offered whereby parents can become involved and give of their talents in furthering the ongoing work of the school. 

Parental Responsibilities

Parent Bulletin:

Each week an informational bulletin is published by the school and delivered in both Spanish and English. This letter contains important communication between the school and families at home. It is the duty of parents to read the bulletin and be informed regarding activities in the life of the school community.

Homework:

Homework, completed at home under the guidance of parents, is essential to each child’s mastery of his or her lessons. Reviewing and remembering what was taught in school each day is reinforced with proper homework skills and completion. Parents should see to it that their child has homework each evening and that it is completed thoroughly and in a timely fashion. If questions arise regarding a child’s homework, the parent should first consult with the child’s teacher(s).

Dress Code:

BOYS: Grades K4-3

• White dress shirt, long- or short-sleeved. No polo shirts. 
• Khaki uniform pants 
• Green cardigan sweater with school arms 
• White or black (solid color) stockings 
• Dress brown or black shoes or solid color (black or white) gym shoes. 
• Brown or black belt required except for K4, where students are encouraged to wear pants with elastic waistbands. 

Grades 4-6

• As above; green school ties (or honors ties for those achieving high levels of academic excellence as determined by grade point average) are worn by all boys.

GIRLS: Grades K4-3

• White dress shirt, long- or short-sleeved, square or round collar. No polo shirts. 
• Plaid green uniform jumper 
• Khaki uniform pants from the 1st November to 30th April annually. 
• Green cardigan sweater with school arms 
• White or black (solid color) stockings 
• Dress brown or black shoes or solid color (black or white) gym shoes. 
• Brown or black belt required for pants

ALL STUDENTS, GRADES 7-8

• White dress shirt, long- or short- sleeved. No polo shirts. 
• Khaki uniform pants for boys. 
• Khaki uniform skirts for girls. 
• Navy blue blazer with school arms 
• White or black (solid color) stockings 
• Dress brown or black shoes or solid color (black or white) gym shoes 
• Brown or black belt required for pants
